Letterlopes

Here are some of the images I created for my thesis stationary I did. It's all silkscreened and hand drawn. Each Stationary is based on a an emotion/purpose as to why you would write a letter. You write because you have beef with some one, need to make amends, secrets between friends, or send love. enjoy.

Record

Small Editions Book class we were supposed to come up with a design for a music cover. It was based off of your own interpretation of the word RECORD.

I thought about the movies and cameras. How iconic the red button is on the camera.

blessed be accessories.

Blessed Be Accessories:
This was a book that I made inspired by clubbers, hipsters and random people that I meet at parties.

Introduction:
"Everyone has secrets
 being young and sexy
 to attract another
 is not always easy

 One must sometimes
 conceal their habits.
 insecurities and secrets

 Oh Blessed be Accessories
 these small finishing touches
help to conceal the cat in the bag
 at least for a while.

In a nutshell the book is about different stereotypes and how accessories make you "appear" to be something your not. Example: one girl is covered in tattoos but her coat makes her appear to be quite the classic beauty. etc. you get the idea.

Rough Sketches:
All pen and ink.

This book was silkscreened, letter-pressed and hand sewn.

Night in L.A.

(You can see the slow shutter... I captured the security guard coming towards me telling me I couldn't take pictures in the Custom hotel.)

I went around L.A. and took some more photos. Some are enhanced and some are not.

School will be starting up again soon.

Not really looking forward to school starting up again. I did not miss all the all nighters I pulled last semester. continue...

Feist

 Feist Music Poster

Huge Feist fan. I got this book called "Master Poster Design" There are small companies of teams who freelance music posters as a living. People like Hammer Press, Aesthetic Apparatus, Patent Pending Design, and Heads of States are just some of my favorite from the book. I wanted to do a promotional art poster for her concert in Toronto.

I'm looking forwards to exploring more silkscreening process this coming semester.
